Terms & Conditions
These terms explain how ResumeForge billing, subscriptions, digital downloads, AI-generated content, and user responsibilities work.
Last updated: March 6, 2026. By using ResumeForge, purchasing a one-time export, or subscribing to Pro, you agree to these terms with Parallax Solutions.
1. Service scope
ResumeForge (operated by Parallax Solutions) provides software tools for drafting, editing, exporting, and managing resumes and related job-search materials. The service is intended to help users prepare application materials, but it does not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, visa eligibility, salary outcomes, or regulatory compliance for any document you create.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the service. You may use the builder without creating an account where the product allows anonymous access. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit and for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials.
3. AI-assisted content
ResumeForge may use automated systems and third-party AI providers to suggest summaries, bullet points, formatting, keywords, and other content. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or outdated. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all resume content before using or sending it to employers.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use ResumeForge to create fraudulent applications, impersonate another person, infringe intellectual property rights, upload unlawful content, interfere with the service, reverse engineer protected components where prohibited by law, or use automated abuse methods such as scraping or credential attacks.
5. Guest one-time downloads
ResumeForge may offer one-time paid downloads without account registration. These purchases are charged once per export. Receipt delivery, tax calculation, payment collection, and related payment compliance functions may be handled by Paddle or another authorized payment provider acting as merchant of record.
6. Pro subscriptions
ResumeForge Pro is a recurring subscription. Unless required otherwise by applicable law or explicitly stated at checkout, subscriptions renew automatically at the disclosed billing interval until canceled. You authorize the payment provider to charge the applicable recurring fee, taxes, and any price changes disclosed with advance notice where required by law.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel a subscription before the next renewal date to avoid future charges. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, cancellation stops future renewals and does not retroactively reverse already-billed periods. Access to paid features may continue until the end of the current paid term unless the service is suspended for misuse or fraud.
8. Refund policy
Refunds are provided at the sole discretion of our Merchant of Record, Paddle, on a case-by-case basis and may be refused. If you are a consumer, you may have a right to cancel within 14 days; however, this right does not apply to digital content once you have started to download, export, or otherwise benefit from it. There are no refunds on unused subscription periods.
9. Taxes, payments, and chargebacks
Taxes may be collected based on your billing location and the rules applied by the merchant of record. You agree not to initiate unjustified chargebacks and to contact support first for billing issues. ResumeForge may suspend access or restrict future purchases in the event of fraud, abuse, or unresolved payment disputes.
10. Intellectual property and licenses
ResumeForge and its software, branding, layout, and non-user content remain the property of their respective owners. You retain rights in the content you provide, subject to any rights necessary for ResumeForge and its subprocessors to operate the service. You represent that you have the rights needed to upload and process the information you submit.
11. Availability and changes
ResumeForge may modify features, pricing, templates, AI providers, or access rules from time to time. The service may experience downtime, outages, third-party provider failures, or regional restrictions. ResumeForge is not liable for delays or failures caused by internet infrastructure, third-party payment providers, hosting platforms, or external AI vendors.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or employment success. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumeForge and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, business opportunities, goodwill, data, or employment outcomes. Where liability cannot be fully excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to ResumeForge for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event at issue.
14. Local consumer rights
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that grants mandatory rights, including withdrawal, refund, notice, cancellation, warranty, or unfair contract protections, those rights continue to apply and control over inconsistent terms to the extent required by law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of ResumeForge, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise. Courts with proper jurisdiction over the operator's principal place of business or another forum required by law may hear disputes. Consumers may also have rights to bring claims in their home jurisdiction where required by law.
